A semi-quantitative method of assessment of thickened drinks in accordance to IDDSI. These Viscgo sticks were invented since there was no practical way to ensure drinks were the prescribed thickness. These sticks ensure every drink thickened with gum-based thickener is the correct thickness for each person – not too thin and not too thick. The Viscgo sticks colour coded in accordance to the IDDSI colour: o Slightly Thick (Level 1 – Grey) o Mildly Thick (Level 2 – Magenta) o Moderately Thick (Level 3 – Yellow)
