With the generous support of the China Merchants Foundation, CMF eRent Gerontech Rental System was launched in 2021. CMF eRent not only supports inter-agency participation in the one-stop gerontech rental service, it is also the first of its kind in Hong Kong to collect data on the use of gerontechnology by elders and caregivers who age at home. Building on this success, we have developed the CMF eRenta Gerontech Rental website to extend our services to individual users and to further educate and popularize full range of gerontechnology applications in the community. Individual users can make use of e-Rent to learn more about different assistive devices, conduct simple self-assessment and easily identify suitable devices according to different types of illnesses and physical conditions. Visitors can also register for assistive device disinfection and cleansing services, and sign up for various educational services and experiences in the website and achieve ageing in place with your loved one.
