Many immobile patients need urgent medication or treatment, and to prescribe the right drug dosage with confidence the patient’s weight is required. However, getting an accurate weight reading for an immobile patient is difficult. The Patient Transfer Scale combines two processes: transferring a patient from trolley to bed, and weighing them. Because it performs these two tasks simultaneously, it takes no extra time to weigh an immobile patient.
