LiteGait provides postural control and weight-bearing assistance for fall-free therapeutic activities. It permits the clinician to be hands-free when working with clients of all functional levels and diagnoses, to focus on better quality and increased quantity of practice.
The design of the LiteGait lets body weight support to be directed only where needed while facilitating normal weight-bearing where appropriate. The overhead straps provide postural control and support for symmetric upright positioning even for those who cannot support themselves.
Tablet BiSym scale provides measurement, feedback, and reporting regarding the client’s weight supported in the LiteGait device. The client and clinician can view in real-time the support provided by the LiteGait, adjusting intervention and providing cues as needed for goals. Additionally, BiSym can provide visual and auditory feedback for the client based on goals set for weight-bearing and support. Reports generated by BiSym provide objective documentation of amount of body weight supported bilaterally during the course of the session, patterns of body weight support over time, and other measures of progress related to support.
Objective measurement of the amount and distribution of the support provided by LiteGait. The unique design of LiteGait system allows control of support provided to the patient during therapy to be what the patient needs on each side of the the body. One sided weakness or tendencies can be easily corrected and with BiSym the possibly uneven support is measured. The level of support is displayed graphically on a tablet in real time to be used as feedback to the patient or as indication of too much or too little weight bearing to the therapist. Use it to chart progress as support wanes during therapy or to enforce restricted weight-bearing condition - Two simple measures, many uses.
