WILMO can sense the EMG (Electromyogram) of paralyzed muscles from stroke patients, and provides the electrical stimulation in proportion to Patient’s paralyzed muscles activities. This method is reported to help patients improve their hand functions and restore noticeable amount of mobility, eventually leading to the possibility of the patient no longer requiring the device.
